16 middle and high school students helped 16 primary school children learn to read and write.
The project started before the holidays, face-to-face, and work in tandem. The older students were „guides”, the other „tourists” engaged in a learning journey, from which all had something to learn.
Together with the primary teacher, they prepared the “route” of the meetings and the format of activities that would be both pleasant and useful. Each lesson began with an energizing game, continued with the learning part, and ended with another game.
The children liked these roles so much that some of them, neighbors in the village, continued the meetings during the holidays.
